Well had the car in my local garage today, yes we were right it was the near side rear wheel bearing, few bob later and it’s all sorted. thanks folks.

Good evening you helpful bunch! so my 2017 A4 SLine has developed a humming sound whilst driving, it gets louder the faster I go, I’m inclined to think wheel bearing, so my question is, does my theory sound correct? If so can anyone give me a rough guide on price to replace, I have the tools and ability to do so myself, just not the time. cheers in advance folks. Steve.

Evening folks. Today I bought my first Audi, a 67 plate S line 1.4 petrol. on first impressions it seems a great car, not sure if it’s a step down or up from my previous car, a Range Rover evoque, it had its fair share of issues! I look forward to interacting with you all. cheers steve.
