  1. I've had a slight misfire on my 3.2 at idle for about a week and today I was going to go for a short run and then use my super duper OBDC dongle to diagnose which cyliner was doing the misfire. 5 miles later, I had the red flashing oil warning light come on the dash, stopped the car immdiately and checked the oil level which seemed to be OK. Limped back home at low speed, temp was normal and no strange noises. I've read that this could be caused by a gummed up or leaking oil pressure switch, anyone experienced this? Thanks Geraint
  2. Hi Gareth, thanks for the reply. I overlooked the "504/507" spec in my original post, I've now bought 40 litres of Mannol 5W-30 Engine Oil Fully Synthetic Longlife C3 VW 504 / 507 approved. Works out at less than 20 quid a gallon and it's also suitable for my 2015 Kia Rio 3, which is awesome. I'm reluctant to pay 50 quid a gallon for oil which I suppose makes me a skinflint, but I can live with that 🙂
  3. Hi, I've done some extensive searches for the correct engine oil I should be using for my first oil change since I've had the car, lots of conflicting info out there :(, can anyone confirm if "Mannol Premium 5W30 Engine Oil Fully Synthetic Longlife Dexos2 C3 Low Saps" will fit the bill? Thank you
  4. Greetings from Carmarthenshire, had my TT 3.2 now for just over a year, touch wood (touches head) no major problems so far 🙂
