I do see that my beef is that i think they need my permission to disconnect it and i would like to see the policy document to have which spells out the reasons Also their attitude regarding this matter is very much take it or leave it this is what we do

Thanks steve for your views I have not made progress so far as I've not been able to contact audi customer services I'm missed them and they have missed my calls but I am keen to pursue it Leighton

People don't seem to have strong views, I agree main dealers don't seem to be any use beyond three years ( you live and learn there is a privacy issue but I feel main dealers should have a policy on dash cams and they should publish this but they have no right to disconnect my dash cam without my permission ,if they cover it or switch it off and switch it back on that would be different Also they publish their customer service objectives and then the staff treat you with such contempt .

My Audi was serviced at a main dealer when i drove the car home the dash cam had been disconnected. I was told this was a strict policy and was not negotiable in any way Do people have any strong views on this
