  1. Hi, just got A3 Sportback Sport 35tdi stronic (10/2019, 39,000km). The car is an audi used car plus, regularly checked and serviced. It has Continental 205/55/16 winter tires (pressure 2.3 front, 2.1 rear). There are problems while driving. Front shock absorbers seem very soft. It absorbs holes in the road, but it bounces (like a soft spring) on bumps. The chassis doesn't seem to be stiff enough. Especially in the front part you can feel a heavy motor and soft damping. I could describe it as spongy. Difficult to explain, but here's an example: I was driving on the highway (95 km/h) and came across a bulging bridge joint. The front part of the car "banged" clearly, I was afraid that something would break. It seemed as if absorbers were so soft that they would be crushed by an impact. There was no damage (rims ok, tires ok, gearbox ok). I drove the same route with the 2010 Peugeot 308 (same 205/22/16 tires) - I drove over the same bridge link and felt almost nothing. Has anyone had similar problems? Any advice?
