  2. In need of a brake pipe as mines was split at the end so I cut it and flared put a join and new pipe but it keeps dripping at the join at the old side so just going to go for a whole new pipe but I can’t seem to find the correct one online does anyone know part numbers etc for the pipes that run under the car and connect to the flexi pipe at the rear passenger side struggling to find one that even looks remotely the same it’s a sportback 2009 2.0tdi Cbab thanks
  3. okay ill be back to it this weekend will bleed multiple times thanks man
  4. yeah they are defos at the top although they were on the wrong sides at one point as my mate was adamant that it didn't matter but I swapped them back when he left lol
  5. okay thankyou so could i make all new lines to replace the flexi hoses except for the front braided ones I've put on new from HEL ?
  6. so i fitted mk5 r32/s3 discs and calipers with new hel brake lines etc but i cant get the pedal to feel ok after bleeding, i have since changed both rear calipers with all new brake lines at the back, i have used manual bleed, pressure bleed and vcds bleed (not tried vcds bleed with new rear calipers etc yet), is there something im missing or any tips to bleed the calipers better any advice at all would be great thanks a3 8pa 2009 2.0tdi CBAB
  7. it had codes for excessive soot and bank 1 efficiency below threshold if i remember correctly that's when i got the dpf done i did suspect egr valve as i had a code for that too, i did take this off and it was filthy and stuck so i cleaned it all so it was free moving again. i have not been able to drive the car just yet waiting on a few parts to show up but it does still go back in limp mode after clearing DCT codes re starting the engine it after a few smaller revs it will go back in to limp mode again with the same codes showing, i will check flow rates again under load when i can i will try this with the deisel conditioner when its back together again
  8. so I have owned the car for around 7 years, ever since I had it it went into limp mode had it checked was told dpf so had that removed and mapped out and ecu remapped at same time, problem persisted for a while I was only doing short journeys to work and back so didn't bother me too much being in limp mode now and again, the car has been off the road a year now and I've done a lot of other work it needed, gearbox, driveshafts bottom arms etc etc etc, I still have the limp mode issue so I buy a vcds ross tech cable to finally get to the bottom of the issue I keep getting codes P0087 fuel rail/system pressure too low intermittent and P0088 fuel rail/system pressure too high MIL ON, so I thought new fuel rail pressure sensor ordered one from febi installed last week car still throwing same codes but with the addition to a code P0193 fuel pressure sensor short to plus - intermittent the car doesn't go into limp mode when driving hard mostly when it is at cruising speeds 60-70 or if you rev it a few times from idle it will go into limp mode with coil light flashing , doesn't have starting issues stars on the button idles fine as well I'm honestly at my whit's end now and I'm not trying to get rid of the car after I've spent so much getting it to where it is now but this issue is stopping my car going through MOT because of the EML I really need some help I've been told injectors from someone but the injectors seemed to be okay on the vcds test, I've also been told its the hpfp and also that it could be fuel pressure regulator, is there any way at all that I could be sure which one it is. please help I love my car and would love it to run normal again everyone around me is telling me to just scrap or sell it but they don't understand what this car means to me happy to provide more info from vcds logs etc
