Hi All, I have a 2007 A4 1.9tdi. A few days ago I topped up my power steering fluid but accidentally used a bottle of fluid I had for my wife's car which wasn't the correct Audi spec. Now, not 4 or 5 days later and no more than ~250 miles driven my pump is squealing if I turn the wheel while stationary. When driving or if I rev the engine while stopped it won't make noise, but at idle it does. I bought the correct fluid, disconnected the return line to the reservoir and flushed about 0.5L of fluid through the pump before reconnecting, filling and bleeding the system but unfortunately it made no difference. Have a really worn out the pump so quickly? Is there anything else I can try? Many thanks in advance!!
