I have a 2012 Audi A4 2.0Diesel CJCB engine. Occasionally, not always (annoyingly), it goes into Limp Mode under heavy acceleration. The fault code persistently stored is Fuel Rail pressure too low.. and there was also one occasion where the fault listed was P106500 - Fuel regulation discrepancy. I will post a recent full VCDS log below: Here is a list of attempted fixes for this issue; -replaced fuel tank pump -replaced pressure regulator valve -replaced fuel high pressure sensor -replaced inlet metering valve -replaced common rail -replaced diesel filter -and of course a full service of the car When the P106500 DTC came up recently I searched and found many people online that were experiencing similar difficulties with Limp Mode, all with varying solutions like, it needed injectors, it needed a pressure regulator valve &, it needed the "Nox-fix" software update. I was hoping someone might be able to more efficiently direct us to the problem than just throwing more parts at it like Audi wanted to. Thanks. Also, I notice during Advanced Measuring Block analysis of injection deviation in the 4 cylinders, that injector 1 & 3 are usually ranging from +0.4-+3.0, whereas injector2&4 are always negative values. This leads me to suspect the injectors, as the inj1&3 deviation sometimes grows more positive while driving, with the car unable to accelerate full throttle. This is often most usually when the car is cold. Sorry about the very long explanation but I wanted to be as precise as possible.
