  1. My car is an Audi A3 C7 2013 plate and although with these errors still drive well
  2. I’ve had an error code P261A code showing Coolant pump B control circuit open and have been to Aldi who have done a diagnostic check to say the coolant pump be needed to be replaced. I have now received a new coolant pump from Audi to sure I’ve got the right part and I’ve had that fitted. I now still have the error code. i’m assuming when Audi did their diagnostic to find that the coolant pump needed to be replaced, checked the wiring to see whether there was a current coming through the plug to indicate there was no brake in the cable? When I reset the arrow, the arrow does not come back until the engine is switched off, switched on yet, if the engine turn on the following morning, when the vehicle has been standing, the error light does not come back on until the engine is warm and the engine is switched off to be switched back on again. I also now have an another error code coming up P261C coolant pump B control circuit range low. and again, when reset, while the engine is running, it doesn’t come back until after the engine has been warmed up and it’s switched off sometimes. if the vehicle is stationary, with the engine running 15 to 20 minutes, a check oil level warning light come up. I know the oil level is ok and when hit the Excelerator pedal the warning light goes. Does anybody have any ideas what this could be, as I am reluctant to go to Aldi and pay their extortionate fees simon
  3. Had an issue a few months ago, where I had a leak in my coolant tank. I added ragnal to the coolant to close the leak which it did. A short while later I started getting an error coming up saying the coolant pump B was not working. I have since gone to Audi who have did a full diagnostic and they came back saying the coolant pump needed replacing, I then bought a coolant pump from Audi to ensure I had the right part and I have had that fitted. I am still getting the same error. The engine is not overheating. The car still runs okay however when I am in stationary traffic for a while my oil warning light comes on telling me to check my oil level, which I know is okay. Does anyone have any ideas what else it could be or could it be that the coolant pump just needs running In what’s your advice and thoughts? Simon
