  1. Soon as weather pics up I’ll give it a go. It might look alright with washers to pack it off , I’ll get there somehow , and yeah I’ll get some pics when it’s done 🙂👍
  2. Hiya mate , I’ve kinda come up with a few ideas , I’ve cut the back off the tip which will get me closer hopefully I’m only about 20mm away from the hole so I might use some washers and see how it looks , other than that I might try and move the adblue tank a bit and try and refix it , hopefully I can get my car in the unit tomorrow and give it a go 👍
  3. Hi has anybody done a quad tip diffuser conversion on a tdi, the right side tip won’t bolt on as the ad blue tank is in the way so wondering if anybody has got around this ? Cheers chris
  4. Was thinking that , needs to come down somehow , seen a few do it on the salons but not sure in this country with the speed bumps like ya say , I’ve got a feeling they are 21,s now could be 20”s I’ll have a look tomorrow
  5. Ah , that’s not good , really need it dropping but not worth the hassle I guess thanks again matey
  6. Hi all, has anybody used lowering springs to lower a 2018 onwards avant , if so which ones did you use and gas it affected the ride quality ? Thanks in advance Chris
  7. Ah got ya keep me posted what you find out , would be interesting to see what you have done cheers mate
  8. When it goes back in I’ll ask the question to see what upgrades they recommend
  9. Mate , you have to keep me posted on this because that’s something I’m looking into but unsure how to go about it , they deleted start stop as I heard that that can cause delay , unsure , you will know more about that but was free and never liked it anyway, but the setting off delay has gone it’s just the , as you come to roundabouts , slowing down and accelerating where it’s still delayed, shocking Audi release them like that really when a simple map pretty much cures it , so the gearbox map makes a massive difference then ? Gutted they didn’t have one but are working on it apparently, so looking forward to that 🙂
  10. Just a quick update had the dyno tune and made a massive difference , they couldn’t do the gearbox map as it wasn’t available but they are working on it and to check back at the end of each month , the setting off lag has practically gone which was driving me mad and managed to get some pretty good results on the dyno , they definitely know there stuff and would definitely recommend 🙂
  11. Ah ok mate , yeah I’m gonna ask the questions , I’m a bit nervous but I’ve been watching the you tube videos for a few years and like you say they seem to know there stuff thanks for all your help though mate I’ll keep you updated
  12. Obviously I don’t want it pushed to an inch of its life , and if that’s what they are going to do that would be a expensive mistake in having it done , do they have a warranty ?
  13. So you have had a bad experience with them mate ? What exactly happened ? From the you tube vids they seem to monitor temps and things , I’m a bit nervous now and I’ve paid the deposit
  14. You sound more clued up than me mate , everything you said sounds right , just hope they know what they are doing as I don’t want to here it go bang that’s for sure 🤦‍♂️
  15. Quick update , finally got to the bottom of it I think , contacted dark side , they said the vibration is caused by to much torque and is probably flywheel judder ,I asked if there would be any damage caused , they said probably not as I’d only felt it about 5 times before I took it back to stock they recommend full custom dyno with more progressive torque delivery and to get the most out of the map they recommended a gearbox map with increased torque limiter and other settings like 1st and 2nd delay fix , quick shifting , quicker launch from stand still and other things , they recommended stage 3 gearbox map with custom tune as they have the capability to match the torque to the flywheel , very clued up on what they was talking about , they said they have never done this exact model , and said they wanted it for 2 days so they can really get into it with road tests , I’m definitely impressed with the gearbox side of things , they even come out with you in it for the test , it’s booked in on the 11th October , so hopefully this is it , sounds like they know there stuff , hopefully this will help others on here with similar problems 🙂
  16. Quick update , contacted pendle performance, apparently the vibration is due to wrong fueling and values of the map so easy fix hopefully , booked in next Wednesday , keep ya posted 🙂👍
  17. Yes mate I had a gearbox map done whilst it was there , unsure really, been on all the other mapping companies and they seem to go no higher than 480nm most around the 450 mark , havnt seen any running 520 ish , but again , it’s not a small company so you would think they would know what the car can handle
  18. Will do mate , my thinking at the minute is take it back to stock for now , and get in touch with dark side developments ( diesel tuners ) see if they know of upgrades I can get )
  19. That’s for your help guys , mine is a auto and if the uprated one will only hold that then it must be to much , I’ll get them to turn it down if possible
  20. Unsure at the min , wasn’t even sure if mine had a dmf in it, gonna have to keep digging , I’m sure the napping company would of known that before hand as they are a massive company , not sure how I would find that out really
  21. It’s only done 32k it went from 200 to 240bhp was 400nm to 520nm
  22. Hey guys , had my 40tdi rolling road mapped about 2 months ago , everything has been perfect but noticed a big vibration when the car is under load , only seems to be in 5th and 6th , I’ve read it could be dmf, has anybody had any experience of this , don’t really want to loose the power and was thinking if it is is there a performance option cheers Chris
  23. Hi , I bought a 2018 a6 c8 avant 40 tdi sport mhev about 3 months ago , I’d read everywhere that this model had intelligent coasting but didn’t seem to be working , I put it down to a low battery as it struggled starting sometimes , anyway I explained to Audi in Blackburn that I had a lane assist not available msg coming up now and again , and again I presumed that it was due to a low battery so I said to them can you check the start stop battery , the lane assist fault and the hybrid system as it wasn’t coasting , firstly they said that I’ve listed three faults and the diagnostic is £180x3 which is my first complaint as that’s ridiculous as it just wants plugging in , then they said that my car doesn’t have coasting and only available on petrol versions , luckily for ne my car was under warranty from a garage I’d bought it from so I didn’t have to pay , , I’ve since took it to a Audi specialist and they said because my battery was low the front camera had lost calibration and has now been fixed , and hello suddenly me car is coasting (not for long but it’s definitely doing it , anyway my question is , is there any written proof anywhere that says my car has this coasting, I’ve even tried customer services and been through to tech support but it’s a call centre in South Africa and I get knowhere , I just can’t let it lie as it’s unbelievable how they don’t know how there own cars work
  24. No faults came up and typically when it was it the garage it never did it so they couldn’t find any faults they said that they had tested both battery’s and was fine , weird
