I've usually found the cables snap because of another problem within the regulator itself. Its best to replace the regulator. Or it could be the window seal is out of shape and putting extra pressure on the regulator? I would start by finding what has caused the cable to snap in the first place.

Hi I'm after some advice please. I stripped this Engine down several months ago so my memory is a bit vague. I'm just about to put the inlet manifold back on with hp injectors and can't seem to find any o rings in the head set or in the box of bits! Does anyone known if there should be o rings or washers sealing the injector seats in the head? I would have thought so being direct injection? Thanks.
