  1. Suspected gearbox issues!

    Hi guys, I'm hoping someone else has had this issue, and that it's a simple fix :D wishful thinking I know! Okay the problem.... My car is an A4 Quattro 2.5 TDI 6 speed manual on an 04 plate, and for some reason, when driving off in first and second I get a slipping feeling coming from the drive. It is a similar feeling to an auto changing up if you can understand what I mean? This stops when it comes to third, fourth, fifth and sixth gears. It still pulls really well but I am sure it is over revving at the same time in first and second. Also this only seems to happen when the car warms up a bit. So I am assuming it is something to do with the oil becoming thinner as it heats up as well? I hope someone can help with this issue. Gav
