  1. Thanks for responding I've been in touch and they have said if its a cable issue it won't be covered so I really wanted to get it open and see if it's something I can fix first
  2. Hi all, I've been scouring the Internet for an answer, my bonnet/hood just won't release. I've already tried the following. > removing the trim around the hood release to pull directly on the cable, as far as I can tell the cable is not snapped. > pressing down on the hood while someone else pulls hard on the release >spraying contact clean into the general area of the latches (getting desperate really) >attempting to pull the centre release with a screwdriver and also a spring pull hook (long story but it's basically a thin rod with a 90 degree bend at the end). The hood is tight shut and I'm not convinced my warranty will cover the work. Any tips are welcome.
