  1. Hi Stephen, apologies i wont be much help. I took the car to an Audi Specialist who basically said he wasn't concerned about it however it played on my mind too much and I got rid of the car in the end.
  2. Hi, I bought an Audi A5 2.0 TDI Quattro S Tronic a few days ago. I've noticed when cruising in 5th gear and putting my foot down, the car drops to 3rd gear but makes a clunking/clicking sound. It happens across other gears too but is mostly always on the downshift when putting my foot down. I've had a local specialist drive it today and they don't think it's anything to worry about as it's just the gearbox selecting the next gear in advance and being a bit noisy doing it. Has anyone else had anything similar? And is it something to worry about it? Thanks in advance
