Hi all. I am new here, so I apologise in advance 😬 I am currently restoring a B6 S4 Manual Avant. The front subframe is completely toasted and needs replacing. The current one has a serial number of 8EO 399 313 AM. I cannot find one for sale with the same numbers and letters. All the ones I seem to find have the same numbers, but the last 2 digits vary. Common ones appear to end in BD, there are also plenty of other variations. Can anyone shed any light on this? Are all of the subframes interchangeable? I do believe there might be some slight differences with the Cabriolet models? Basically this is the main thing that is holding my build up. Without this my restoration is going nowhere! Hi mate. It might be worth looking at carbodypanels4u.co.uk. I believe you can even get them pre painted for a little more $$$.
