hi today my allroad refused to start, no lights or steering lock release when key inserted, removed and checked j518 from the steering column to find a bodged circuit board by previous owners, unit is dead now, can a used module be fitted if it comes with the matching ignition key ? any help appreciated before going to the main stealers with it

hi all , just got my first audi after years of bm's and jeeps. all ok up to now but eh its an 2005 a6 allroad tdi so ill prob be on ere quite often.
