  1. when to change the cam belt (toothed belt)

    Just had an 'Inspection service' carried out at an Audi service centre, cost £194 which included pollen filter and brake fluid replacement. Was advised that I should have my cam belt changed in 5 months when the car is 4 years old. I find that a little hard to stomach as the car has only got 40k on the clock and the service manual suggests that the toothed belt be changed at 133k. Comments?
