  1. Warm start problems

    Hello all. I've just signed onto the forum. I've got a '99 B5 2.4 V6 which I just love. Before I joined up I was looking at an Audi forum and saw that someone had problems starting their engine when it was warm but it started fine when it was at ambient temp. I wanted to reply to the person but couln't because I wasn't signed up. Anyway, I went through a lot of mechanical purgatory until I relented and took it to the dealership. It's a faulty crankshaft position sensor, part no: WO 906 433 B and cost £70.52 in 2016. While I'm on here, if anyone's got a rear view mirror for her I'd be much obliged.
