  1. Bearing noise!!

    A6 2LT.2012 180 km. Heard bearing type noise. Replaced left frt bearing as it was tightest. Noise remains. It is rotating clipping sound on drive train. Louder with speed. Don't want to change other bearing unless sure. Can it be a halfshaft issue.?

    Hi. 2012 180km. A6 2lt. Have a bearing like noise from front during driving. Changed bearing on left side as wheel was tighter. However did not make much difference. Noise is not a continuous grind as you wud expect from a bearing. It's like something hitting something during rotation. Right wheel feels OK to rotate and shake. I am afraid to waste money. Cud it be a halfshaft issue.
