  1. Hi Guys. I have an Audi Q5 17 plate. The car has been well maintained and looked after. Fully serviced. Im looking for feedback on my emissions fault issue. The Emissions light came on a few days ago. I took the car into a reputable Audi approved garage for a Diagnostic check and plan for repair. Ive been informed that it needs 4 new Glow Plugs, a new Adblue Tank (complete with an internal fixed Glow Plug), a new Module, a new Adblue Pump. Parts alone cost £3000 the repair bill estimate is £4000. The garage have offered a cheaper alternative. The removal of the Adblue System. This involves remapping the engine. Cost £1000. Ive been informed that this is legal, it improves engine efficiency and does no harm. Obviously I am tempted by this but am also wary. Has anyone in this Group encountered similar issues? If so what was the outcome, how did you get repairs done and what was the cost? Im shocked at how so many faults have occured simultaneously with no warning whatsoever. Any feedback would be gratefully received.
