  1. 1st gear take off judder

    I have a concerning judder when taking off from 1st. Especially worse when very cold. Symptoms improve going downhill. I have read a lot about a dreaded DMF issue but not sure if it applies to me. My car is 1.6FSI manual 2006. also if anyone knows why I haven’t had my timing chain rattle at me yet please enlighten me, 94k miles and no history of timing chain change haha. thanks all.
