Everyone who has replied had the Avant. I've yet to have any info ref a spacesaver fitted in a saloon. I called into my local Audi dealers today and asked them, a total waste of time I got the standard response"if it wasn't fitted as standard equipment we can't comment" I've attached photos of the boot space for a spare in the saloon. As you can see it differs from the Avant. Any additional info for the MHEV Saloon would be welcome.

There's a lot of conflicting info out there ref Audi A4 tyre pressures. For example on my Audi A4 2.0 TDI 35 with 225/50 17 tyres, on the Kwik fit website their recommendation for my exact model is 32f/29r, the Audi door plate sticker says 36f/33r.(this is the comfort setting, the non comfort setting is higher) The unwritten rule seems to be the later the model the higher the tyre pressures? Are Audi doing this to make their mpg figures look a little better in today's "green world"? Higher pressures give a harsher ride and can lead to uneven wear.

Has anyone managed to fit a spacesaver in the MHEV A4 b9 Teknik TDI saloon (17" wheel)? Is there room since Audi fitted the auxiliary Lithium battery? I've seen installations of the 19" wheel, but not of the smaller sizes. If this has been accomplished any photos would be appreciated.

Has anyone fitted the Westphalia detachable towbar to a b9 saloon? If so could they advise if the cut out in the skirt is visible? Photos of any such fitment would be greatly appreciated 👍

I've just bought a late 2020 (70 plate) A4 MHEV Teknik 35tdi. Its a b9. No spare, no jack, not even space for one in the underfloor tray. I've seen several posts showing 19" spacesaver being fitted but none for the 17", so could anyone advise on the following? 1. Would a 17" spacesaver fit over the two batteries in the boot? (12v &12v lithium)? 2. Can the rear boot tray be replaced by one that has the necessary recesses for the jack ect?
