Alternator failure related to mild hybrid system?

Hi, I now have this problem with my Audi A7. I am 5 months out of warranty and the car has 27000 miles. Can you confirm that Audi covered the costs for this? I have tried my local Audi dealer and they said it is out of warranty so I’ll have to pay. many help is appreciated
