    I have exactly the same problem, I have ordered the outer cluster in the hope it solves the issue after reading this. I also got a new cluster for the boot. I was so puzzled why it wouldn't work and would never have thought it might be to do with the outer cluster. I read this and had a light bulb moment (ha) when I realised the outer cluster must have water ingress too because it has condensation, it's still lighting up (just dimmer and a bit flickery) fingers crossed 🤞🏻
