  1. Dear all, I have a 2015 Mk1 Q7 S-Line with 21” alloys. The problem I have is that I live in the countryside with awful roads and for some reason Audi in all their wisdom thought it would be a good idea to put low profile tyres on a large SUV. I have had 6 new tyres in the last 11 months at a cost of £1500! I am looking to get some 19” Audi alloys so I can have bigger tyres to try and fix this issue. Of course Q7 Mk2 alloys don’t fit Q7 Mk1 cars! Of course they don’t! Has anyone had any experience in using alloy adapters 5x130 to 5x112 so you can fit Mk2 alloys on to a Mk1 vehicle? Do they work, are they safe, does the car still drive ok? Any advice is much appreciated and should I look out for anything in particular? Trying to source Mk1 19” is proving almost impossible. Many thanks, Nick
