Thanks pal. Going to ask a silly question. What you mention regarding mechanical linkage. Is this unit/part I can replace if so what would it called? If it's something else could you advise please. Again thanks for the help much appreciated

Do U sort this mate. We had issues with heater. We changed matrix still no heat .turned out to be coolant control valve .it sits under scuttle panel under windscreen. Fairly quick and easy change. Approx 65 on eBay like a febi brand

Hi all. Our front passenger door sometimes will not open from outside It locks fine with central locking It opens from inside Windows work fine Just sometimes when unlocking the car it won't open when using the outside door Then sometimes it's works fine ! Anyone have experience of this Any advice will be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

Hi new here thanks for having us. Got an issue on our 2.0 litre A6 c7 auto 62 plate The fan belt started fraying little rubber bits so had it changed also changed the tensioner as it as moving when in idle. Now the new belt in a brand and tensioner down same thing so chewing the belt on sides. Again removed then one one and replaced with gates tensioner and gates new belt and again Two questions 1. Should the tensioner Havel little play or should it should I say 2. Also if so then why is belt having little bits throughout being chewed I saw a mates 17 place c7 facelift but his tensioner was not moving however looked little different Or am I incorrect in assuming it's different.
