  1. I should say, my VIN is: WAUZZZ8E45A111327 Which as far as I can tell is slap bang in the middle of the warranty VIN population
  2. Hi All, First time here, and you find me in a state of distress! Last Thursday my 54 plate Audi A4 s line avant (190 BHP model) broke down. It just stopped. I had the AA tow it to my mechanic who told me that it wasn't the cambelt (As suspected by me and the AA), but the camshaft had snapped. I did some hunting online, and found the following links that tell me that there has been a warranty extension on all A4s with set VIN (My car fits into this bracket) http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/424044-2-0T-Camshaft-warranty-extension-and-reimbursement Here is a letter sent to Audi owners about the problem in the US: http://petermrupp.com/docs/Camshaft-Warranty-Extension-Letter.pdf Audi UK have told me that they are not aware of this warranty extension, and when faced with the evidence merely stated "This is a US warranty extension, and not in the UK". I told them that my VIN fits into the recall bracket, but they are not budging. Has anyone else had this problem, did you get it fixed? Currently the car is on eBay as a non runner, but really don't want it to go so unceremoniously! Please can someone help! :o( Thanks! Silentdisco
