Hi, I need to replace the gear knob and surround on my Audi A3 S-Line 35 2020, as the leather has ripped in multiple places. I've found a replacement gear stick (genuine Audi part from a breakers) and was looking to replace this myself as my dealership wanted £250 to change it. I've managed to remove the surround, but I'm unsure how to remove the gear knob from its stalk, it seems to be secured by a metal bracket. Does anyone have any experience, or even a guide, on how to do this?
