    Do I need to remove the idle wheel above the alternator, it's 2 in the morning and I'm completely stuck

    I have a 2008 3.0 audi q7 tdi quattro the alternator is knackered I've disconnected battery removed serpentine belt taken off hoses and removed the 2 13mm bolts from the face of the alternator but it's still locked solid in place am I missing something
