  1. Hi guys, I have a 2009 tdi a6. The engine code is CAHA and the gearbox code is LDV. I can’t find anywhere on the internet if this gearbox is auto or cvt or dsg. Does anyone here know?
  2. Lads I have a 09 a6 and when I go over speed bumps I can hear a metallic rattle coming from the rear passenger side. Have removed everything in the boot etc with no avail. I’m going to get under the car tomorrow to have a look, any ideas what I should look out for in particular? I’m guessing it’s a bush of some sort. Just to be clear it’s more of a rattle than a knock. Any help is appreciated guys, cheers.
  3. Thanks a million for the insight Steve, will ring tomorrow and book it in. Cheers
  4. Thanks for the reply Steve. To be honest, I thought it had been, on the service history book there was a recent service that had it ticked but it was only when I got home I realised that in these books there’s a yes and no box and it was actually the no box that was ticked. I know rookie mistake. Is this a noise that would be fixed with an oil change or is it a case of the damage is now done? Cheers
  5. Hi folks. First time owning an Audi, albeit an old one. I bought a 2009 A6 auto. It has a very low intermittent whine, this happens sometimes when I come to a stop, but it also happens when I put it in paddle mode. It’s a very low whine and can’t be heard with the radio on. I’m just wondering is this normal or is there an issue? Any help is appreciated!
