Quick update , after jumping through a few hoops etc , its come back as being sorted under my Audi used car warranty. Total for quote £395. Replacement water reservoir tank and motor. As to why it needed a diagnostic check for a leaking tank ? obviously didn't have to pay for the check if its covered on Warranty. Booked in this Thursday , happy motoring.

Thanks for the reply , if its covered on warranty which I hope so, no probs . Strange thing is I had an S7 a few years ago and the same thing happened with that car , but the repair was done whilst the car was in for service. I will see what they say when I take it in Friday morning .

look on you tube ,the connectors clip into each other and are sealed . They look the ideal solution too .

Appears that the system is leaking badly, although the motor is working ok . Does anyone know if this is covered under an Audi used warranty ? ( yes I can hear the laughing ) quoted £ 150 by local dealer ........

Most warranties don't cover your wiring loom, Ive had this mentioned a couple of years ago . Go and find another dealership .

Many thanks for the information Francis, since writing I have been offered an Audi Dashcam / front and rear for a decent price . When I asked my local dealership for quote re fitting they wanted over £ 500 , which I think is slightly taking the .....Biscuit !

Any one know of any Audi offers on sale of front /rear Dash cam ??😂

Go via Motorway or Carwow ..........easy to use. If your happy with sale price offer / sell . If not don't . Very straight forward and professional.

Daft question time folks ! Does the Q8 come with a parcel shelf as standard ? Or is it an optional extra these days ? many thanks in advance .
