Over 4 weeks now and my latest post hasn't been approved by an admin?

So after going back to the garage, swapping out the fan from the old unit resolved the error messages. Everything is back to normal. From autodoc the light unit cost just over £1200. Fitting and coding plus air, oil, pollen filters and oil change cost around £700 at a local specialist. So over £1k cheaper than main dealer. In the end I didn't want to risk buying used and at least have warranty on the new unit. Hope this helps someone.

Hi Gareth Car is going back in this coming Monday to try to resolve the error. I was going to update after that once we had confirmed that the solution required the fan swapping between units. Hoped to add that to my reply to give anyone in the same situation a heads up. It would have saved me some hassle if I had known that as the its a bumper off job again for the garage.

So I ended up getting a new unit from autodoc. Car has got to go back to the garage to resolve an error. It seems that the unit i bought didn't have a fan so they have got to take the fan out of the old unit. I did find a couple of places offering to replace just the lense. However they were quoting around a week which meant being without the car. I have read in a couple of places about people having condensation issues after having just the lense replaced.

Hi As per title I need a new n/s headlight after hitting a pheasant (only a week after getting my car back after 7 months in the bodyshop awaiting parts). Part number on the unit is 4g0941033j (has been suggested that 4g0941733j is the same but not sure. Can anyone confirm this or alternative numbers. Its for a 2016 s6 with led matrix lights. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on replacement. I can get a new unit without modules from autodoc or a used unit off Ebay with modules. Are there any other straightforward options. I really don't want to pay the £3k+ that audi want. On the other hand I want it to be right. Any ideas / suggestions gratefully received

Can the exhaust tips on the s6 be replaced easily? Preferably standard chrome as mine are pitted/discoloured. Any part numbers. Please.

Yes, ordered myself from 2 uk sellers last week and had parts delivered directly to the bodyshop and have heard nothing. Would help if I knew the required size. Have also tried audi uk customer service but they won't talk to me because of gdpr as I'm not the registered owner on their system. I need to go into their local dealer and see if they can update this without seeing the vehicle. They ideally need to see vehicle, v5 and 2 forms of ID. Have all the others but the car is still at the bodyshop

Hi, Does anyone have any experience with the above? My S6 has been at the bodyshop since the end of June. Apparently they have a problem with the rear o/s window seal (chrome trim at the bottom of the window). Its appears all Audi stock is too short and they are waiting for an ETA from audi. Its about 11 weeks just waiting this part. The part number they have given me is 4G0 853 764 2ZZ. Any ideas or solutions would be great.
