I have booked into my local dealer( Bolton Audi) . First available appointment they gave me is 5 May!! In the meantime , I may try MMI reset. Is this easy to do?

I have been driving my 74 plate A3 for about 18 months but in the last few days it has stopped loading my user profile. When I go into users my name is listed but when pressing the screen it says " The selected system is currently unavailable" . I have checked that I am still listed as the key user and I am . Can anyone suggest a solution?

they have helped clarify why the oil change message has appeared. The service interval for oil is set at 12 months so this stacks up. Thanks.

car is owned outright and was registered in September 2024.

I am driving a 74 plate A3 and have done 3500 miles. A message has appeared to change the oil within 30 days which surprised me in view of the low mileage. Any ideas why this should be? Having contacted my local Audi dealer they have quoted in excess of £300 to carry out the oil change!

I will see how it goes for a few days but after that would expect the dealer to give me a FOC solution given I have only done approx 3000 miles.

I have a 74 plate Audi A3 bought brand new in September 2024. The engine start / stop function is not working. I have done a fair bit of urban driving recently but on Friday I undertook a 60 mile round trip on motorways so expected it to kick in, especially in the hot temperatures. The function is switched on so don't understand why it is not working. A trip to my local dealer required?

ok thanks for that. I will just have to get into the routine of switching off these features every time I start a new journey.

Thanks for the advice is that a sound setting just for the speed warning? If so , how do I go about adjusting it ?

Took delivery of a new A3 saloon 4 weeks ago. I previously posted on this forum about radio favourites not saving but after the dealer restoring factory settings , this has been resolved( so far!). There are a couple of other irritants about the system: I have read that the traffic sign speed warning can be switched off but it reverts to "on" when the next journey starts. I find this feature irritating with the constant bongs when I go 2 mph above 30 for example. The other one is the lane departure warning which produces vibration in the steering wheel which I find a bit disconcerting. Is there a way to permanently switch off these two features?

I am glad I found this forum as it has helped me to find that I am not the only one having a problem with MMI. I have booked my car into the local Audi dealer where I bought it later this week with the hope they can sort it. I will hold off restoring factory settings in the meantime.
