  1. The more I have looked into this, it seems that the way to go is to change the speedo fascia for one showing MPH. That way the odometer is correct and no re-programming is necessary. (I never had these problems with my Morris Minor!)
  2. Hi James Thanks for your response. I and the car are currently in Spain. I live in the Isle of Man and there is no Audi dealer there. I have sent an email to Audi UK quoting the existing LHD instrument cluster code and asking what the RHD equivalent would be but as yet have had no response. If this is doable then the plan would be to get one from a breakers yard. I'll give Audi UK a day or so then chase them up. I'll get there eventually!
  3. Hi I have an old LHD A4 Avant 1.8T with automatic gearbox (originally German registered) which I want to register in the UK. In order to do so I need the speedo to show MPH. I think the simple solution will be to replace the instrument cluster. The part number on the existing cluster is 8D0 919 861 C. I assume this denotes a unit with a speedometer displaying KPH. Does anyone know how I can find out what the equivalent part number for a unit with a speedo displaying MPH would be? Thanks in advance
