  1. Hi Gareth I bought the car from Ron Skinners in west wales, Neyland. Annoyingly, I took out a warranty plan but it only covers the var for six months or 6k whichever is first. We bought the car in march this year and are around 6k from when we bought it. I did the mot at VAG so they could do a diagnostic at the same time. In the meantime, Skinner has offered to do the clutch and fly wheel for £1600.00 so half the amount…
  2. Hi All I recently bought a 2017 audi a4 avant 1.4 tfsi. Love the car, but me and the wife have found difficulty engaging first at the traffic lights from stop. The car went in for its mot today and I had audi diagnostic done as well to see if there was a clutch problem. Audi said the clutch is excessively worn so needs new clutch and flywheel at £3,166.00. I was wondering if this really is a clutch issue. We certainly have no clutch slip. Apparently the clutch bite is quite ‘high’. Wondering if anyone has had similar issue? many thanks Jason
