  1. Thanks for this Steve Q I'll have a look Regards Lee
  2. Hi all, So a grinding feel and noise turns out to be because the rack boot from the near side has came off and the dirt / salt has made the bearing fail. I've had the car since July and I noticed that someone has been at it before as its the only one with a cable tie instead of the metal boot strap. Has anyone replaced that standard looking bearing? or do I need to replace the rack? Are there any trusted experts in the York area? Its a 2015 with the electronic PAS TIA Lee

  4. Hi all ! My 2015 A5 tdi s-line has developed a grinding noise / feel in the steering. My son used the car and reported that when he got in the steering lock didn't come off as usual but after a yank on the wheel it unlocked, since then we have the grinding noise / feel, has anyone seen this before? is there a way to remove the lock and lubricate perhaps? any other suggestions? Thanks in advance Lee
