Hi, I wonder if someone or some person can help me? I'm going to renew the rear axle/carrier soon as it is rotten, but I was just wondering when jacking up the car, is there anyway I can jack it up without damaging the chassis? I used to own a Mk4 Golf Estate where I bought polyurethane rubber bungs from PowerFlex (VW also do their own) which I 'popped' into a hole in the four corners of the chassis. I can then use these to either jack the car up or use them for axle stands without damaging the chassis. Is there any way to do this on my Audi? I even used to jack the Golf up once when changing shock absorbers using the Tow Bar, but the Audi hasn't got a Tow Bar.
