  1. Thanks everyone for your input. I’ll be keeping an eye out for one with FSH. In the meantime I’ll keep my Mk1 Octavia 4x4 going
  2. The car was sold to someone else so my decision was made for me. Maybe it was meant to be. Still, I’m interested in a 2.0TFSI Quattro Avant so the search continues. I’ll have a look on here, see if there’s anything for sale. Thanks everyone for your advice
  3. Thanks for your advice. It’s v cheap, and I’m advised it’s a great drive and the condition overall seems great - hence the temptation
  4. Hi everyone I’m new to this forum, but I’m looking at purchasing a 2010 A4 Avant 2.0tfsi Quattro. It has no service history unfortunately as it was a cat-s right off and the log book was lost in that time. It’s had 3 owners, averaged less than 10k a year. There is some early service history which I’ve found online from Audi, and then some more around 2019. So I’m assuming these rest of the history wasn’t logged electronically. The SH that was logged included the likes of normal oil changes and inspection services. It looks really well cared for. The cat-s damage was just a dented door which has been replaced. Interior is mint and nothing worrying on the exterior. Apparently the timing chain doesn’t rattle, there are no knocks or bangs anywhere (engine or otherwise) and there are no oil leaks. Anything to look for? I’ll go for a good drive in it to get a feel. Cheers in advance! Will
