Hi Gareth, Thanks for the speedy reply. I will venture to my local garage, I think this is probably beyond my skills! Re reading what I wrote it's slightly wrong! So the pedal does return, however with my foot flat to the floor it is very hard to get it into gear, driving sedately it does recover slowly. Will let you know how things turn out thanks John

Hi, I've recently bought a manual 2.0 diesel 2016 S-Line, it was actually a cat N write off, however only very minor front damage, it was just plastic bits that were broken, plus one parking sensor. So something I could fix! It's one owner and been looked after. However I've noticed that after only relatively hard acceleration then clutch is going to the floor and its hard to put into gear, it does slowly recover. It's fine when driving shall we say economically! Has anyone experienced this, could it just be some sort of air lock or am I looking at replacing expensive parts!
