  1. Thanks, I’ll follow up on this
  2. Would be good to know if you do get a diagnostic check done if it does flag any faults, we have had the same done twice on our car and no faults found, we have been recommended to get a recon gearbox for the car ??
  3. don't know, but thanks will check it out to see if it was
  4. Suspect it's something more 'in depth' but making a decision whether to go down the electronics or mechanical investigation is going to be expensive and might find a solution! I do think, it's likely that there are more cars out there with the problem, just finding out solutions worked.
  5. Tried the gearbox oil/filter change - no change
  6. A3 (8PA) with an intermittent, reverse gear selection issue, usually occurs when the engine is warm. Current solution is to put it in park, switch the engine off and restart. Had it checked out by the Audi specialists who advised there were no fault codes. A bit stuck, can't decide whether it's likely to be a ECU issue or mechanical, gearbox/linkage issue. Has anyone come across this issue or can give any advice what its likely to be ??
  7. I have an 09 S3 auto sportback that constantly & intermittently won't select reverse, need recommendations for an expert to diagnose/fix the problem any recommendations- thanks
