Matthew Q3 Black Edition

Perhaps it’s worth speaking with some other A3 owners, without scrolling back through this post I believe it was only Q3 & A1’s affected as they share the same/similar head unit. Either way the problem seems to have rectified itself now, so it may be coincidence that you lost stations at the same time and may be a genuine fault with your A3?

On the Q3 if you press the memory tab it takes you to the memory(your stored stations) if you press memory again it takes you back to the full station list.

This wasn’t my list of saved stations in the memory, it was the very top of the list of all stations. May be slightly different in an A3 to a Q3 but can’t be sure without comparing side by side.

The million dollar question!

I think in order to understand what has been going on, we must accept that this hasn’t been a DAB+ issue. As I had previously thought and now proved by an above member who has contacted Global Radio, Radio X for one, has been DAB+ for years. Also, it would be rather a coincidence for all stations, from different media companies, Global, Bauer etc to have swapped to DAB+ on the same date, this problem has affected ALL stations broadcasting on D1 & SDL. I’ve little understanding of it all further to this but would be very interested if we ever get to the bottom of what has been happening to stop our MMI systems picking up these signals.

I urge everyone to scroll up to the top of the station list and hit ‘Update Station List’… I’ve just tried this and ALL THE D1 & SDL STATIONS ARE WORKING AGAIN!!!

Same issue here - 2018 Q3 black Edition. I'm not sure the problem is solely DAB+, there must be more to it. Radio X switched to DAB+ a good couple of years ago, after the switch my old DAB radio at work would no longer find/play the station but there was no problem in the car until end of March, same as others are reporting. Keeping a keen eye on posts here, thanks to everyone that's tried to reached out to Audi. I have a friend that works in the Hitchin(Hertfordshire) dealership, I'll update if I hear anything.
