  1. I'm also concerned about leaving it too long I'm assuming wherever the oil is coming from is going ro run out at some stage
  2. I'm quite comfortable removing a drive shaft it is something I have done before and I have the tools from last time I did it , I was just wondering where the leak is likely to be from in that area, it's not from a boot as there is too much and I believe it would be grease rather than oil.
  3. It's not clutch or brake fluid the levels are too high , it's not coolant or screenwash like I said its wet around the drivers side drive shaft and steering rack its high up near the drive shaft so I don't know if it's squirting up from the rack or coming out of the drive shaft area/ gearbox I've not had any experience with manual gearbox oil so I'm not sure . It's defo some kind of oil
  4. Hi Guys , I have a 2014 a5 2.0tdi sline FWD , recently I noticed some staining where the car had been parked just small pools every now and again. It is some kind of oil i thought it was diesel at first because it was quite clear but its defo not diesel , i then thought steering rack but I've not lost any fluid, I've took the rear tray off the bottom this was soaking as was the linkage on the steering rack suggesting something higher up it look like it may be coming from the driveshaft area I've read somewhere there may be an oil seal is this accurate and where can I get one asap? Drivers side rhd. Any thoughts appreciated
