  1. So if i get into the car, the wing mirror on the RHS will get stuck in that position you see at the start of the video unless i move the wing mirrors back in/out again. Only seems to happen in colder weather. I know @Steve Q mentioned the diag check which I'll ask for the next time the car is in as its not a huge issue for now but not sure if this is just down to wiring etc but will definitely look into it!
  2. Hi all, So the video I have attached shows one issue that is slightly odd and seems to be fine once the wing mirrors are folded in and back out. This only seems to occur when the weather is slightly colder. Along with this, I have noticed at times that wing mirror's heater isn't working as well as the other side or to the point that it doesn't work at all. Is this possibly down to a wire or is there a particular fuse each wing mirror that is causing this fault? Thanks! WhatsApp Video 2025-10-28 at 12.45.49_09848ad6.mp4
  3. @Optimus yeah, they would have been getting changed at the next maintenance as I am about to cross 100,000kms on the car. The car is 6 years old at the moment. Had the car serviced twice in the 1.5 years I've had it and no mention it and had everything checked over before I bought it. Yeah I was going to be replacing all 4 regardless, the bosch ones are roughly €18 a plug where I am from so I assume a mechanic will try charge me 25/30 per plug. The labour as you said I am expecting 1/2 hours at the moment if it is easy but hopefully not 3/4 hours! I am expecting around 275-300 at the moment as a conservative estimate
  4. Hi all, So i recently got an error code relating to the glow plug circuit in cylinder 4 (40 Tdi, 4 cylinder engine, error code P0674) Car runs fine, no issue on start up and no lost fuel consumption or any big issues so assuming just maintenance. However, what would everyone expect a rough cost would be for the 4 plugs to be changed plus labour? Bosch plugs I checked are around 18 euro so make that 80 for parts (mechanic will probably charge me 100) and 2 hours of labour (if issues). Appreciate any help!
  5. Yeah either way I will be keeping on an ear for it over the next while but driving wise it seems fine for now
  6. Either am I, and to correct myself above it was the discs but even still they're fine. Unfortunately I dont have a ramp to put it up and check myself but the car itself drives fine so I'll keep an eye on it for now! I've attached the health check report I got anyway
  7. So I am not hearing the noise as much now, not 100% sure if they just applied some from of lubrication onto the brakes (or onto the bushes etc if they were bs'ing etc), the only thing they mentioned from the health check I got was that eventually over the next while the pads need to be done but from checking they still have a good bit left on them so honestly its the first time like Steve has mentioned I have ever heard that.
  8. Sorry for the delay everyone, had to wait to get a service date, had it in yesterday, techs have said the sound is coming from the way the brakes are worn and suspension itself is fine (first time I have heard that...)
  9. Thanks for the quick response! I was suspecting a worn rubber bush or but always worry it might be more (praying its not!). There's no leaking fluid anyway but I will update as soon as I get it looked at.
  10. Hi all, Wondering if you can help me diagnose the sound I am hearing in the video attached. Usually only hearing this when I get into my car or when I put a little pressure on it. I've checked all other sides and no similar noise. It will be going in for a service soon but wanted to see if anyone had any idea beforehand. Thanks! VID-20250529-WA0011_1.mp4
