Thanks Steve - for some reason I remember the cover being bigger. Either way the garage hasn't replaced that small cover and are emailing me telling me my car never had one. I never have a good experience with Audi garages!

Nice, similar to me, I've also done the same amount of miles! Would it be possible to send me a picture of the engine please? Does your engine have an engine cover? Basically my car had a service and investigation and not long after I got it back from the garage my coolant light came on, so I popped the bonnet and when I did that I thought my engine cover is missing. I'd had the bonnet open a few times in the previous months so I'm certain there was an engine cover there, but now the garage is telling me that this model of car doesn't have an engine cover. I feel I could bet my life that there was an engine cover and my first thought when I opened the bonnet was that it was missing.
