  1. The latest Pirelli cinturato all season touring tyres. Much better than Potenzas which were very noisy and too firm.
  2. Hi all Looking for some advice on changing out the rather firm and jittery S-line suspension on my 2024 A3 8Y (black edition) to something more comfortable and softer (possibly akin to standard SE suspension or equivalent). Any suggestions on what I should be considering and looking at for daily driving only please? I’ve heard Bilstein (B4s ?) and maybe the eibach pro springs would help make things more comfortable? thoughts and suggestions much appreciated. Any real world experience of changing from folks? Don’t want to burn a lot of money on changes that are not significant… P.s I’m keeping the 19” wheels but I’ve already changed the sport tyres to touring tyres and that made a significant difference to road noise and comfort already!
  3. Thanks very much Gareth, I’ll have dig around!
  4. Hi All 🙂 Just purchased a 2024 A3 black edition with the 19 inch wheels and getting a fair bit of road noise in the cabin on certain surfaces. Wondered if anybody has had practical experience installing sound deadening / insulation that reduces road noise? Perhaps inside the front wheel arches either on the metal body work or on top off the plastic wheel arch liner itself? (dunno which would make the most difference, if any.) FYI - I have covered the boot in silent coat 2mm and closed cell foam and think that's had a noticeable difference that side of the car. Front wheels seem to be the main culprit now affecting my rather OCD tendencies :-) Before going to the hassle of taking the wheels off and removing the wheel liner, I thought I'd check with folks here as I'm sure I can't be the only one who's thought about doing this! Thanks in advance. Rob.
