Thank you for your response. I purchased the car with an additional two year warranty which will cover any issues. Furthermore, I would expect the dealer to look into this for me. I have a good video of it however I think I’m unable to upload this to the site. From my research a few have proposed similar thinking to yourself. I can’t say I have noticed the gearstick moving forward and back as such in line with acceleration. It just seems like excessive movement and it’s annoying considering I only picked up the car on Tuesday AM.

Hello, I am new to the forum and I have just purchased an Audi A4 2017 2.0 Ultra Sport at the beginning of the week. 63,000 miles on clock. I have noticed that the gearstick is shaking/vibrating excessively whilst driving. When the car is in neutral and in idle it’s fine. The shaking is more prominent in gears 3 & 5 and I am curious is this common in these models or is it indicating an issue? Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
