  1. I managed to find a place in Durham who took the component protection off and programme it to the car he checks to see if the vin number is ok for the unit to ensure it's not a stolen one , when that is done it's all go and sound is back on. £100 over the moon. The place is called north east vag adaptions , the bloke is canny too
  2. Thanks for your reply, the original one like I said does nothing I took it out the car and had It on the house for weeks and I tried it in the car again on Friday and still nothing , like I said in my first post, no one will touch the second one without the vin number (I wished I knew this when I was purchasing it) and I know, the new ones are very pricey , is there any aftermarket amps I could buy or a company who can tap into the wiring harness for a amp to work or speakers ?
  3. Good evening , I have a Audi A4 with a water damaged amplifier (own doing by storing screen wash on top) ano silly, anyway nothing works on it. I do a hard reset and the Audi logo comes on for 10 seconds and that's it , I bought another one same serial number 4GO 035 061 Q from eBay, it works lovely however the sound is not, I understand it needs coding to the car but I haven't got the vin number for it and no one will touch it , so now I have two useless amplifiers and no radio still, this is now my 10th week of no sound or anything now , I need help, either someone to help me with repairing the damaged one , or someone to code the second one or another solution helllllppppp. Thanks
