  2. Thanks I will have a look later, not much info around on this one
  3. yes i have the new part, its almost in but its the rubber trim parts thats preventing it from seating correctly, cant see how they come off, thanks
  4. The car is a 2011 A4 b8 Avant and i need help/ advice on removing/fitting part number 8K5853273Q this is the black triangular piece of plastic that fits between the main rear window and the rear quarterlight, i have spent 3 days searching for information on this but still no luck so far, so any help would be most welcome.
  5. its a 2011 car and its been out of warranty for a long time now, so it doesn't really matter.
  6. Yes i am paying cash for the job
  7. Best price i could find from an Audi mechanic who does a few private jobs was £350 labour only, my car is a 2011 B8 and best price for a clutch and dmf flywheel kit is £450, they seem to be a lot more expensive for the B8.
  8. thats a very cheap price for the work involved, i wish i could get mine done for that price.
  9. thanks but i had the car checked at a local audi independent garage and they confirmed it was the flywheel
  10. thanks for your reply
  11. I need to change the dual mass flywheel in my car, but cant seem to find the correct one for my car, does anyone have the correct part number for my car, its a 2011 A4 B8 2.0 tdi avant CAG engine, the reason im asking is that when i go on ebay etc, some say it fits my car and some say it does not fit, i dont trust ebay compatibility system, thanks
  12. Did you manage to fix this problem, i have the same problem on an A5, i have put all new sensors on the car and a brand new manifold on it, the engine light went off for 4 days but its come back on again, every time i clear the fault code, it comes back a couple of days later, the type of manifold fitted to the car does not have the flap motor, so i cant see how it can be adapted.
  13. ok, thank you. i think ill go for the LUK rep kit
  14. I am having to change my dmf and clutch due to flywheel failure, can anyone tell me what make of clutch and flywheel that was originally fitted to a 2011 A4 B8 2.0 TDI thanks.
  15. A few weeks ago the manifold runner position problem showed up, so the manifold was taken off, inspected and cleaned, it all looked ok, put it back on and the problem was still there, so all wiring connectors were checked and vacuum system tested, and all sensors were replaced with new ones and problem was still there, so the next step was to buy a new manifold, the new manifold was fitted and the problem went away, no more mil light on and i thought the problem was fixed, two weeks later the same problem has returned and im about to run out of ideas, so any suggestions or ideas would be most welcome, thanks
