I think, liking at images it’s just a screw and some clips that connect them, along with a couple electrical plugs, so should be easy enough to swap over…
famous last words.
Mines got active cruise, lane & rear wiper, so will probably limit the number of them out there.
I’m assuming the squib ring is item 2, as TPS will sell me just item 1, but annoyingly they won’t give me the part number lol.
looks like I’m popping off the wheel & cowling to check the part number.
Hi all,
my stalk cluster seems to be playing up, seems to only be the side that controls the wipers/washers. Seems intermittently loosing the screen wash function and swapping it to activating the rear wiper.
is there somewhere I can find the part number so I can find a replacement unit without having to take the wheel off to save myself some effort?
cheers.
That’s a good shout getting a car scanned before you buy, hadn’t thought of that, but it’s been a while since a bought a car from an independent. Thankfully they are being decent and are going to collect the car and sort all the issues out. I’ll just need t make sure I scan it when it comes back.
this one’s pre adblue as I’ve seen too many issues with that with friends/colleagues.
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your response!
yeah it pretty high mileage.
Thought it may be too good to be true that they would be all related.
I’ll go back to the dealer I bought the car from to see how they want to deal with it, either deal with the repairs or take the car back off me.
Thanks
Paolo
Hi all,
just picked up a 2014 Allroad and it’s thrown the glow plug warning light.
I’ve had the RAC come out and scan it for codes and had the below come up.
Are they all likely to be linked to the soot content in the DPF or am I looking at multiple issues?
thanks!
