  1. I bought it from a local independent garage. The day after purchase the engine management light came on, it showed a cat issue so they replaced it. Last week when I had the power loss, the light came on and it was a fuel pump issue. The garage have been good and replaced without an issue. When it loses power, the car starts shaking, the rev counter is jumpy from 800 to 0 and the engine cuts off. When it does restart, it runs so smoothly, you’d never know there was an issue. It’s a petrol with 93000
  2. IMG_4359.mov IMG_4359.mov I purchased my A5 2 months ago and am having issues with it losing power. Seemed to only happen in 1st gear at first but now whole idling. It is intermittent. No fault code had been showing so the garage cleaned the engine manifold, this didn’t fix the issue and when it happened again a fault code was saved saying it was the fuel pump. This was replaced yesterday and my car has just done it again leaving me in the middle of a junction. It seems to rectify itself after a minute or so and runs fine again. I had my Catalytic converter replaced when I purchased the car and maybe a coincidence but it has been happening since then. This issue is very intermittent but causing me great concern as I feel when it happens I’m a sitting duck! Any advice appreciated IMG_4359.mov
