Not averse to a remap, but this EA189 looks to be a horror story. I can budget for regular maintenance as an enthusiast but £1k regular probs not gonna be tolerated. Previous owner I'm told was an enthusiast (if dealer being truthful).
I'm assuming a remap with EGR delete is the preferred route?
Thanks for the add, I'm in the process of buying a 2015 Audi A4 2.0 TDi Quattro B8.5 with 43k miles.
Reading up on the model, I have some grave concerns with the EA189 engine fitted, married to the low mileage use of the car.
Should I be looking to buy a B9 instead?
